Unlocking creativity through evidence-based experiential therapy — IFS, Polyvagal Theory, somatic practices

Hello, I’m Dara

(pronounced ‘DARE-uh’)

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist — rooted in evidence-based experiential therapy

I'm fascinated by our human capacity to create & grow. The possibilities are awe-inspiring — from forging new neural pathways through neuroplasticity to leveraging memory reconsolidation for deep transformation.

If you have a vision for your life you wish to bring to fruition but are experiencing blocks, experiential therapies can help you access your inherently generative and creative “Self”.

The concepts I integrate into my practice include:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) - a compassionate psychotherapeutic approach that heals shame and invites “Self-Leadership”.

  • Polyvagal Theory - a somatic roadmap for attuning to and regulating our nervous system.

  • Breathwork, Movement & Nature - foundational practices that reconnect us to ourselves and the beauty around us.

A bit about me.

I’m a multi-passionate human with lived experience as a mother, partner, certified coach, psychotherapist (Master’s in MFT), corporate/startup brand strategist, and as a creative business founder.

I currently reside in Outer Sunset, San Francisco. You can often find me frolicking around Ocean Beach with my daughters. I enjoy barefoot runs and all things psychology. I’m a voracious reader and have found there’s likely a book that can accompany you on whatever journey you’re on.
